How Your Parent’s Helper Works
01
Initial Consultation
It starts with a conversation. We’ll learn a little about your parent, what kind of help they’re looking for, and what would make everyday life easier. Then we’ll schedule their First Visit at a time that works for them.
02
First Visit
The First Visit is about more than a task list. We take time to get to know your parent, their home, routines, preferences, boundaries, and the things they would actually like help with. Then we get to work, so they experience what having a Parent’s Helper is really like.
03
Customized Plan
Together, we identify the everyday tasks and projects that would make life easier. That might include meal preparation, household organization, technology help, coordinating home services, appointment scheduling, or errands completed on the client’s behalf, such as grocery shopping, prescription pickups, returns, and donation drop-offs.
04
Reliable Support
If your parent chooses recurring visits or our Twice-Weekly Membership, our goal is to provide the same familiar Helper whenever possible. Over time, their Helper gets to know how they like things done, what matters to them, and what needs attention, making practical support feel like a natural part of everyday life.
Help That Respects Their Independence
Your parent decides what help feels useful and how they prefer things done. We take time to learn their routines, priorities, and preferences so each visit feels comfortable and genuinely helpful.
During the First Visit, we agree on how to communicate with a designated son, daughter, or other family contact. Visit updates can include what we accomplished, what’s planned next, and any concerns that need attention. That way, the parent knows what will be shared and the family knows what to expect.
